Privacy notice

Your wellness information deserves careful boundaries. This notice explains the information Ziva processes and the controls available to you.

Last updated August 29, 2026

Information you choose to provide

Ziva may collect account details, profile preferences, wellness goals, practice history, self-reported check-ins, community activity, support messages, consent choices, and information you choose to share with a clinician or partner. Because wellness information can be sensitive, only provide information you are comfortable storing in the service.

Information collected when you use Ziva

We may process device and browser details, approximate location derived from an IP address, log and security events, feature interactions, crash information, and subscription status. We use this information to operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve Ziva—not to create medical diagnoses.

How information is used

  • Provide your account, plans, guided practices, progress history, and requested features.
  • Remember your preferences and consent choices across devices.
  • Process subscriptions and communicate service or security updates.
  • Moderate community content, prevent abuse, and protect members and the service.
  • Analyze performance and improve Ziva using aggregated or de-identified information where practical.
  • Meet legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.

Sharing and connected care

Ziva does not expose your private wellness activity to other members. Clinician and partner sharing is off unless you explicitly connect someone and choose what to share. You can review or withdraw those choices in the privacy center.

We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, payments, communications, analytics, moderation, and customer support. They may process information only to perform services for Ziva under applicable agreements. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect safety or rights, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention and deletion

We keep information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide Ziva, resolve disputes, maintain security, and meet legal or financial recordkeeping duties. Retention periods vary by data type. You can request an export or account deletion from the in-app privacy center. Some records may be retained when legally required, and aggregated or de-identified information may no longer be linked to you.

Your choices

  • Update account information and wellness preferences in settings.
  • Change notifications and optional product analytics choices.
  • Review, grant, or withdraw clinician and partner sharing.
  • Request access to or export of your information.
  • Request deletion of your account, subject to limited legal exceptions.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password, protect access to your device, and contact Ziva promptly through the support channel if you suspect unauthorized access.

Age limits

Ziva is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly offer accounts to children. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information, contact us through the contact page so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Changes and contact

We may update this notice as Ziva changes. Material updates will be presented in the service or through another appropriate channel, and the date above will change. For privacy questions or requests, use the secure privacy center when signed in or the public contact page.
